I received the following from Jaime and Jason...great testimony of persevering when healing isn't immediate.  God never forsakes those who trust Him fully.  Thank you, Faithful God!!

Hey Amanda – I thought I’d share this with you (and I actually thought to take pictures!)
 
As you know, last Sunday, Julianna had a rash starting. I thought it was a simple heat rash, but it kept getting worse and spreadin throughout her entire body by Sunday evening. Her cheeks were bright red, as if she got sunburnt. I gave her a bath Sunday evening, thinking then that it was a reaction to the blanket I had her wrapped in on SundayMonday morningit was still thereand covered every inch of her body but the bottom of her feet. Monday night, as I was giving her a bath, I was dousing water on her and was praying for Christ to heal her as I was washing her. I prayed that just as I was pouring water over her, He was washing the rash away…. (I need visuals sometimes). I put her to bed confident that the rash would be gone in the morning….
 
Tuesday morning, I awoke to find the rash even worse than it was the night before and began to doubt my praying. I brought her in to Jason and I’s room and approached the subject to taking Jason to work so that I could take Julianna to the dr. to find out what was going on. I did a little research the night before, viawebmd.com and babycenter.com and both sources confirmed it likely to be “fifth’s disease”. A disease that is viral, and harmless once the classic rash breaks out, but the rash can last from 10 days to several months. I didn’t tell Jason of this, but when I approached him of taking him to work, he spoke with such boldness. He said, “No – we need to pray. Christ has healed her. We always want to grow in our faith and see these things happen, yet we’re always scared to take that first step.” He prayed over her and commanded the rash to go away. He spoke with authority from Christ. It was so encouraging! By the next morning (Wednesday), she was completely healed! No more rash!!!

Kenny Jr. called me tonight and his mother, my ex-wife was scheduled for heart surgery today. Many problems but primarily a severe irregular heartbeatShe had an open vision of Jesus (while awake) where he told her He was going to heal her. They did extensive pre-surgery testing and called off the surgery because she was completely healed. She had a mitral valve prolapse which was gone, scar tissue on the heart from previous issues which was gone, dangerously high and low blood pressure which was gone and the extreme irregular heartbeat which is also gone. No sign of any of it. She has been sick for so long that it had become a lifestyle and she is adjusting to the concept of being well. They are weaning her off of a huge list of prescription drugs over a 3 week period to prevent withdrawals and that is the end of it all.

Amanda's reports of the glory of the Lord coming over the School of Healing and Impartation are not at all exaggerated!  With each day came an increased awareness of God's Presence and His love, and with that the confidence that we were hearing His voice and walking in obedience. I believe it was the second day of the conference that the Lord impressed on me that He wanted to bless Randy Clark with a healing of his back. However, I thought how presumptuous it would be of me to suggest that to Randy, who is daily surrounded by apostles who are probably praying for his back. On Friday evening, the impression became quite strong and I was literally standing about 12 feet from Randy in a room where the very sick were being prayed over. Randy was praying with a woman and there was another intercessor laying his hands on Randy's back at the same time. I thought of joining them, but the Lord indicated it was not yet time. The next afternoon, we attended a session he taught called Acts of Obedience: Keys to Unleashing Healing. If there's one thing I do well, it is walking in obedience, simply because I tried the other way and never, ever want to do it again!  At the end of the session, Randy was telling a story of his young son being healed of asthma when a praying friend told them to put two slices of toast on his chest and cover it with a towel. Randy and DeAnne's son then vomited and the asthma attack was over. As he finished, I felt again the enormous sense that the Lord wanted to bless Randy with healing, and the time was NOW!  I said, "How, Lord?  How do you want to do this?"  Immediately he gave me a picture (not a surreal vision as I sometimes have,but a picture in my mind) of Randy lying prostrate on the sanctuary floor, with his intern Chad's right foot placed on Randy's back. I saw the entire assembly in an enormous circle around the room, joining hands and singing "Standing on the Promises of God".  I thought to myself that this was probably outlandish enough to be from the Lord and not of myself, so I asked HIm to confirm it and I dashed to the front of the sanctuary. I told Chad what the Lord had shown me, and Randy overheard and said, "I think we should do it." We then got the media dept. at The Encourager Church to put the words to the hymn on the screen, and within a matter of minutes, the vision was fulfilled. The Lord even brought confirmation when a pastor (Paul Hubbard) shared that the Lord had impressed a similar vision on him!  After we sang, Randy got up and said, "Well, I'm at least 80% better and I feel 15 years younger!"  There was a roar in the room and everyone praised God for His gift of healing!  He used every grateful heart lifted in adoration with faith to participate in Randy's healing. What greater joy is there?!
All we have to do is listen to the voice of our Shepherd and walk in obedience. He is faithful to do the rest. May all glory belong to Him alone.

Noah had his one year old check up on Friday and his ears are still clear and beautiful. I thank God every day for this. How He cares for us even when we don't recognize His love for us!

After I hit "send" on my reply to your email, my sore throat went away immediately. I started swallowing to try to feel it, and there was nothing (it was hurting every time I swallowed) and no more fever or congestion. My throat starting hurting a little 2-3 times that afternoon and I prayed that I would be whole in Jesus' name, and it never came back. Normally when a cold comes on like that it's at least a week or maybe two before it's gone. I'm so thankful! I was able to do my part in the children's ministry training, and I feel like I've been given the gift of these past few days to swim and have fun with the kids instead of sitting around sick. Thank you for praying for me and checking on me!

Wow, wow, and WOW! (5.24.10)

This week was so awesome...so encouraging!  I love to hear what came of previous prayer, and I got so many good reports last Sunday.  (skin condition better the morning after prayer, ear tubes that weren't draining right and causing problems began to work correctly and the little girl got a good report at the doctor, little boy who was supposed to have tubes but whose parents chose to trust God instead has had no more ear infections, relational family/work issues improved and even resulted in a ministry opportunity at work before being offered a new job, friend's child was healed in prayer...sorry, I forget some stories and details!  I'm leaving things out, I know.)  Yesterday I heard another amazing testimony of a friend who was healed on the way to the ER...! (Checky...write it up please!:)

At McD's one evening, there was a man with a leg brace, and I couldn't tell if he had an artificial limb or not.  He stepped out after getting his food, and after several anguishing seconds of indecisiveness, I followed him out.  I told him I felt led to pray for him, and he said that he also was led to pray with me.  So we both took turns there on the McDonald's sidewalk...he was mainly praying for the nation and the church...pretty cool.  

Then we got to witness all kinds of miracles at the healing school this weekend.   I got to meet Solomon, the little boy from Oklahoma who was healed at a healing school in Abilene last fall...check the blog to find the testimony.  There were about 50 people healed daily, and they let some of the 'biggies' give their testimonies...my favs were a girl who had 14 years of memory restored after having amnesia for years after a four-wheeler wreck.  She was given a prophecy that the Lord was going to 'shower her memories back' over the weekend, and He did!  By Friday night, they'd all returned!  Also, an older man was healed of Parkinson's.  He has a prison ministry and talked about how he would hide his shaking hands behind the podium while he preached...he'd been to Global's healing school before and had Randy Clark (top gun) pray for him, but had not yet been healed.  Friday night they had a special healing time, and he came in to have Randy pray again.  Instead, there was a 16 yr old girl, Liberty Rose (?), who'd been crying out for God to use her...she asked if she could pray for him, and he agreed.  She saw a tall angel standing behind him and knew he was about to be healed...without telling him of the angel, she spoke the Lord's healing over him, and sure enough, he was healed!  One more I'll recount...a word of knowledge was given that there was someone with the middle two toes on the right foot curled up and not having circulation (or something like that).  Later a man gave testimony that those two toes on his right foot had been broken for a decade (or 2?), and they'd been curled up and had calcium deposits on them...but all of a sudden they straightened out and relaxed...healed!!  There were so so many miracles, and not just healing miracles!  You'll have to ask me about those in person;)

Even Randy Clark was healed!  His back had been giving him problems, but just after teaching the session on Obedience: The Key to Unleashing Healing, my dear friend Jan was given a vision for his healing, and she was obedient to act on it.  That's all I'm going to tell...  I would love for you to hear that in her own words!!!!  

The best part, though, was entering a new personal place of worship...God is so good!!  Only His love can make my heart soar like that!  Words alone telling of God's goodness is not enough to convince the world.  Honestly, I think the majority of the church isn't even convinced of His goodness, not deeply and personally.  I've been saved most of my life and have only in the last few years thought of Him as smiling when He looks at me.  I wasn't taught that He's mad at me, but somewhere I picked that up...probably from the deceiver, the accuser, who clings to the hope that we'll never recognize the place we hold in God's heart.  We must know the Father's goodness and intentions and must display His goodness the way Jesus did and said we would.  I've tuned in to thosedisplay His goodness, and I am changing.  And I see this is one drop of an ocean.  

Read this, pouring over every word, whether you have it memorized or not...

Ephesians 3:  "14For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15from whom his whole family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
 20Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesusthroughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. "

...the love of Christ and of the Father is one that requires power to grasp... POWER... the power that raised Christ from the dead...it's required to grasp love.  Power and love.  Not just love.  Not just power.  Love and power, power and love.  Without either, glory is not ascribed to the Father.  This is what must go to the nations...and across the street...and to our families.  The great thing is, this pursuit...one that requires more rest than running...is exhilarating!  His love and Presence are literally intoxicating.   

Father, I love You.  Thank You that You are revealing to me Your heart as I have asked.  I ask that You do the same for every son and daughter whose eyes read this.  Thank You!!

Vertigo healed (5.15.10)

I woke up with a touch of vertigo this morning.  It is something I have experienced a few times over the past year.  I have had a mild case of it twice in the past month or so due to fluid in my ears.  When I turned my head over on my pillow this morning I felt the wooziness and knew it was back.  Then I remembered that I could pray and make it go away.  So I sat up and put my hands over my ears and prayed that it would be totally gone in Jesus name.  I began to whip my head around with no wooziness at all!

Being a child of the King through faith in the work of His Son, being a citizen of heaven, an ambassador of the kingdom of heaven...has its benefits.  God gives us 'benefits'...good gifts...'perks', because He loves us and wants to bless us, because that's just who He is, and because our toil and care is to be toward kingdom purposes, not toward trying to attain things he's already given us (like food, health, righteousness, shelter, peace...)  He's freed us up on all sides, so that we stand IN and walk FROM an equipped, established position...as a minister to others wherever we are.  All His benefits are but a 'remembrance' away.  All are 'yes' in Christ.  See them in His Word, and you will see them in your life.  And if there is a moment in time between the two (faith and sight), operate according according to reality, whether it is visible yet or not.  God's word is truth.  It stands firm in the heavens.

Kenny Jr. began throwing up last week and had pain in his stomach and lower back. He went to the emergency room dehydrated and they told him all of those symptoms sounded like a kidney stone or gall stone. He didn't call me all day and not until he was in the ER some time. I prayed in the Spirit and in my understanding for his complete healing regardless of what the issue was. Within an hour the pain left in his stomach and back. The nausea was gone and his catscan showed no stones. They sent him home well with no explanation as to what the problem may have been. Praise God.

Hi, Amanda. Here are details of the two prayers that the Lord has answered for us recently. It's so sweet how Jesus answers even the smallest of prayers. Have a wonderful day!
 
We were told at the dentist that our 1st grader may need to have braces because her front tooth was coming in above the gumline and sticking straight out. That was something we strongly did not want her to go through because our son had to have braces in second grade. We prayed that the tooth would come in straight, and God answered our prayers. It's coming in just right.
 
A few weeks ago, I decided to have the Lord's supper with my kids at home. I thought of it because my kids had fever/sore throat/bad congestion and you had mentioned doing this at home with your family when they were sick. It ended up being a very special time with the kids walking me through the steps of the Lord's supper and telling me why we take the bread and the cup. My daughter spilled the cup at church last month, so it was fun to see her enjoying the process instead of being nervous that she would mess up. We prayed, thanking Jesus for his sacrifice for us on the cross. It wasn't until later that day that I noticed my kids' symptoms were gone. They were symptom free for the rest of the day. The sniffles came back the next day, but never bad enough to stay home from school.

On Monday, Lacey's daughter had a red and swollen ankle that they were unsure of the source of.  She was in pain and hopping on her other leg all day at school.  I prayed for her at lunch and saw a decrease in pain, but we both had somewhere to be and had to cut it short.  After school, she said it just hurt to stand and walk on and hurt when I touched it. I prayed again a couple of times, and it completely returned to normal.  She unwrapped it and was walking normally, praise God!!

My friend Joann and I prayed for her son also.  He had an infected bite on his knee that was swollen and painful.  During prayer, it shrunk in size and no longer hurt for him to walk.  It isn't gone from sight yet, but will be soon!  Thank you, Jesus!!

Please watch this...it's short!  This is a link to a promotional video for a conference.  I'm sure that the meeting will be awesome, but I'm sending this so you can see the video.  This captures what's it's like when God's telling you to do something, what's it's like when you don't, and what's it's like when you do...at least for me, anyways...  My favorite part is the thrill of the older woman when she gets back in the van after ministering to the lady who God showed her had just become a single mother.  (Of course, these are reenactments.)

It's hard to step out when God gives you supernatural compassion and direction, supernatural vision and creativity, and supernatural knowledge of situations.  It's hard, but only because we are more aware of ourselves than of how big He is and how much He loves the world and wants to use us to change things.  We let doubt and fear of people's opinions keep us back from so many things, but God is just waiting to show Himself strong through us, to demonstrate His love.

'Trouble comes because of the Word', testimonies (5.2.10)

I just thought I would update you on Shelby's condition. As you might remember, she was diagnosed with a rare form of bronchitis. The doctor gave her medication that she had to take for 10 days. After 4 days of taking the medication she said that everytime she would take the medicine her chest would hurt more. I decided not to give her the rest of the medicine and just continue to pray over her. I took her to the doctor this past Tuesday for a follow up and she was completely healed! Praise God for healing her! I was told that it was wrong to stop the medicine, but I felt in my heart that it was not helping, but hurting her. Sure enough, she is healed not from the medicine, but from God's will!

Other prayer results:
  • friend got headache while eating with us at a restaurant...Johnny prayed a couple of times, and it left
  • my co-worker had the beginnings of a migraine...her eyes got clearer while we prayed...I came back 30 minutes later, and she was back at her desk saying she felt good again...that used to be unheard of, as it always progressed from blurred vision to full-blown, debilitating migraines...not any more, Praise God!!
  • co-worker requested prayer for continued heart-burn...wasn't feeling it at the time and haven't gotten an update yet
  • prayed for a friend at life group...his pain left his thumb joints and circulation barely began to come back to his toes...awaiting full healing on that
  • had lots of things healed just within our family...like headaches, tummy-aches, etc...
  • right after I sent the testimonies about my back and Johnny's allergies, both of us had symptoms return. Scripture says that 'trouble comes because of the word'...whenever a word is sown, you can expect the enemy to bring trouble...he's got to get it while it's in seed form, or else it will overcome him.  This is the time to stand firmly on the word that God gave you and not let what you see or feel sway you.  He can't steal it unless you let him by putting faith in what's happening rather than in God's word to you.  You put him in his place, resist him and cause him to flee, by reminding him of the word...just like Jesus did.  We reminded the enemy of the truth, got our other life group to pray over us, and are restored.  Thank you Jesus!  You word cannot be thwarted when we hold fast to it!  
  • Funny, my conversations with even strangers go just like this now...'Hi, how are you?' ...'My back hurts.'....'Hi, I'm Amanda'....'I have high blood pressure'...literally.  Like at the convenience store I was letting my kids buy candy on 'candy day' this week, and the owner had some coconut m&m's at the counter.  I commented that I'd never seen any, to which he replied that they were new.  I asked if they were good, and he said, 'I don't know, I have diabetes and they have 26 grams of sugar.  My whole family except for my brother has diabetes.'  Of course the conversation would go like that...what did I expect, for him to give me a short 'no', like any other guy behind a counter?  So while I was considering if I was to pray for him, my 3 yr old says, 'mommy, can I have this?' (Pause...last week, remember the lady at HEB near the popsicles?  Well, on that same list of 'clues' was an old coke bottle...it was the first image God had given me during that prayer, and it was very clear.  I'd wondered why nothing ever came of it that day....Unpause) Right beside me was a tub of iced-down sodas in glass bottles...a variety of them, and the one that Chase was holding was a Coke...an old-timey glass Coke, just like the image.  So I turned to the man and asked if I could pray for him.  He, as usual, was very happy to have me pray for him (actually, he's Indian and I assume Muslim because his wife covers her head...but maybe they're not, I don't know...) but didn't realize that I meant right then. :) So I prayed for him and gave him my card, telling him to email me when he knows he's healed.  TBC
  • My uncle Butch had been having pain in his arm.  We (many people) prayed for his stress test to go well and show no heart trouble, which it did go well.  I had also prayed that any generational curses would be broken, since his dad had died from a heart attack.  Last I heard, he was still having the random arm pain, but said that one day his back and legs were healed!  I don't know if he'd been praying about that or not, but he'd been unable to ride horses or climb stairs without pain, and noticed that as he climbed the stairs at BSF that he'd been healed!  (I think I have my details right...daddy, you can correct me if this isn't right...)  Anyway, keep praying for his arm and thank You, Lord, for healing his back and legs!!
  • friend prayed with at church the other day for skin problems and anxiety...talked to her husband who said she's been doing better with both... still continuing to pray that through to completion, praise God!
  • As usual, there were many many prayed for, for things which would have no immediate evidence of healing...can't wait to hear back on those.
